Potential Filming Locations

List locations that would be easy for the whole team to get to (ie, either walking or via carpool). Categorize them as either Indoor (Apartment/House, Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Office) or Outdoor (Park, Bridge, Riverside, Factory, Empty/Busy Street).

Location Type Comments
Central Park Outdoor/Park Duh. It's big enough that we could get both crowded backgrounds as well as a quiet background if needed.
Socrates Sculpture Park Outdoor/Park Rain could make it difficult to film.
Exchange Place, Jersey City Outdoor

"Wall Street 2.0". Potentially very empty on weekends

86 Walker Street Office This is an architect office in a chinatown loft. Can be used for office location. This is where I work - Ram
314 W 56th Street Studio Apt This is my studio. Its open if we need it. - Ram
Williamsburg (around Bedford Street) Outdoor Nice neighborhood, not too many foot traffic, a ball park, Brooklyn Brewery, view of Manhattan...
Brooklyn Heights / DUMBO Outdoor View of Manhattan, both bridges, not too busy, quiet neighborhood
Midtown Apartment Large living room, rooftop access - Tony
Turtle Bay (2nd ave & 52nd st) Bar Large, well-decorated living room space, bar area, upstairs area, versatile (but not confirmed yet) -Tony

Possible script ideas

Number: 1

Genre: Romance/Film de Femme

Location: Outside bar/pub, sidewalk/street

Number of cast: Too many to imagine....Ok, minimum 10 people

Notes: Difficult to cast so many people

Description: A man walks out of a pub. He has a five o’clock shadow and looks a bit down on his luck. Lights a cigarette, goes down the block, sees nothing but couples (one must be a gay couple). Begins to talk to himself....why is it so hard for him to find someone, points out all his good qualities and characteristics. An attractive women passes by, he turns and looks…WHAM! man runs into a pole, then falls flat to the ground. The woman attends to the injured man. After a few exchanges, she recognizes him from high school. After a few charming exchanges, women needs to head off. Man wants to escort her even in his condition. She agrees.

Number: 2

Genre: Holiday Film/Horror/Buddy Film

Location: Two/Three Exterior House, Interior House, street

Number of cast: 4

Notes: Make-up could be an issue

Description: Halloween Day - Two guys/gals (gender don’t matter, not over 21) decide to go trick or treat. Upon their second or third house, one of the friends (friend #1) asks to use the restroom. The man of the house shows him in. Other friend (friend #2) waits outside. After a few minutes friend outside becomes restless…goes in house. Living room and kitchen is empty. Hears mumbling from a distance. Friend walks into the bedroom (second floor bedroom if available). Discovers friend is gagged and tied up in chair. Friend #2 turns and is knocked out by man of the house. Friend #2 wakes up and is gagged and tired in chair. Turns and sees friend #1 lying died. Sees man of the house tearing up another both at the end of the room. Friend #2 goes frantic. Hand reaches over…it’s friend #1. Friend #2, the one tied up, goes ape shit. Everyone in room confess it was a Halloween joke.

Number: 3

Genre: Superhero/Fantasy

Location:

Number of cast:

Note: This idea is for fun, don't know if we'll actually do this.

Description: In a street alley (anywhere really)...woman lying on ground, man kneeling next to her is applying some kind of force with his hands. Woman breathing heavily, then slows down. She gratefully thank him. Narration from man explaining how a near car accident awaken his super power of giving women orgasms without physically touching them. A montage of the near car accident, him abusing his powers, going out of control, then finally realizes this power of his is a gift not a curse. Goes back to present day, man narrating he will use his super power for the good of mankind.
